i had a perfect saturday morning.
it started with four super-fine ladies and the desert plant society's annual succulent sale and show at van dusen botanical gardens, and concluded with coffee and lucky's doughnuts.
(the rhubarb fritter was all well and good but the texture of that cruller?!?)
came home with more cacti than i need, including (but not limited to) a hot dog cactus, a crazy good euphorbia, and a tiny acacia tree.

i know. rhubarb! i am a simple girl really, thorny plants and baked goods is all i need.
